The area of investigation include the whole Northern Gallura, delimitated west by the inferior flow of the river Coghinas, south by the slopes of Limbara mountain, and south-east by the valley of Rio Posada, that is, the communal territories of:
Aggius, Aglientu, Arzachena, Badesi, Berchidda, Bortigiadas, Budoni, Calangianus, Golfo Aranci, La Maddalena, Loiri Porto S.Paolo, Luogosanto, Luras, Monti, Olbia, Oschiri, Padru, Palau, San Teodoro, Santa Maria Coghinas, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Sant Antonio di Gallura, Telti, Tempio Pausania, Trinità d’Agultu-Vignola, Viddalba, Valledoria.
